EIF: 40 years of faith by way of television

The number 40 is symbolic of a time of testing or trial.

The Bible mentions the number 146 times.

In April 2018, Ever Increasing Faith Television will have completed its 40 years of testing. Leading up to that time – and beyond – a number of celebrations are being considered.

Among the most conspicuous are the August 2018 Bermuda Cruise and the CCC Women’s Retreat, which will be aboard the cruise.  Other events will be announced later.

The seeds of what would become EIF Television were first sown in a one-man radio program in early 1972.

Pastor Frederick K.C. Price, as he was then called, would record 15-minute teachings on a cassette recorder while tucked away in a closet at his home. When he had finished five teachings, he would get into his car and take them over to radio station KTYM where they would be aired.

Today, that method of spreading the Word may sound primitive, but it proved effective. Listeners loved the teachings and many would eventually join West Washington Community Church where Pastor Price was then ministering.

The radio program would morph into EIF Television in April 1978, after the move to Crenshaw Boulevard and the change of the church name to Crenshaw Christian Center.

As Pastor Frederick K Price Jr. writes:

Ever Increasing Faith Television has been on the air for 40 years.

Nonstop.

Uninterrupted.

Never missing a beat in teaching the uncompromising Word of God.

So happy 40th year to us – and to YOU, our viewers!

That means a nice, long celebration is in order.

All EIF viewers, supporters, and FaithPartners are invited to join EIF Ministries for a year of celebration.

A lot has happened over those 40 years.

My dad, Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, began in April 1978 doing what the Lord called him to do through radio and television.

Some of you have been faithful viewers just as long.

We have expanded over the years to live-streaming; to social media, including Twitter, Facebook and e-church, Instagram and more.

And we are moving forward with another 40 years in mind.  As my dad and I tell you in every broadcast: “You are helping to make it happen!” We could not have remained on the air without you.

In honor of your faithfulness, stay tuned for further details explaining how you may participate. You may expect an e-mail, a phone call, a letter or a text. You are welcome to help us out by e-mailing a note concerning a significant occurrence in your life that you’ve experienced as a result of EIFM  or EIFTV marketinghelpdesk@faithdome.org

Thank you for being a part of this awesome milestone celebration of Ever Increasing Faith Ministries Television’s 40 years of service, where we walk by faith and not by sight.

Remember you are helping to make it happen!
