What’s on Your Mind?
By Dr. Betty R. Price

My heart really goes out to single women if they are not enjoying their Christian life. I wish they could just believe God and know how much He loves them and wants to help them. However, they have to spend time with the Father and build a relationship with Him in order to develop that confidence to know He will give them the desires of their hearts if they will delight in Him.
Fornication
I talk against fornication just about every time I minister because it is still so prevalent among the body of Christ. Every year at our church we find out someone in helps ministry [the group of church volunteers that assist us in the day-to-day operation of the ministry] is having a problem with fornication, and we have to ask them to sit down from their position until they can get their act together. It is a shame, because we talk against it over and over, and yet people still do it. They have to know it is wrong, but they cannot seem to discipline their bodies. Evidently, it was also common when Paul was ministering, because he talked about it in almost all of his epistles.

But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting.

Ephesians 5:3
Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. [“To touch” is talking about having sex with someone you are not married to.]
