Wisdom from Above - Facing the Challenges of Life

The Bible says that people inherit the promises of God through faith and patience. (See Hebrews 6:12). No matter what you are believing God for, you are going to have to learn the virtue of patience. I learned through counseling with people at the church that both singles and married people sometimes have problems with their status in life. While some singles are wishing they could get married, some marred people are wishing they were single again. You would think if the singles would look at the married people, they would not be in such a big hurry to get married. In this life, we all have to put up with something. That is just the way life is—nothing is entirely perfect. Even if you have a good husband, you are still going to have to work with that husband until it gets to the point where you are working together as one. It takes work to do that.
