Thankful
Matthew 12:40:
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

We should all know that God’s Son, Jesus Christ, rose from the dead sometime after the Sabbath, which ended at 6pm, Saturday evening, just as He said He would. That is why His tomb was empty on the dawn of the first day of the week.

Matt 28:1-8:
Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men.

But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.” So, they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy and ran to bring His disciples’ word.

So, with all this, how do Christians worldwide, get three days and three nights from Good Friday, to Easter or Resurrection Day? Based on a three days and three nights scenario, it seems Jesus would have had to be crucified during the week, so that three days and three nights later, on Resurrection Day, He would be raised from the dead. We have been told that Jesus was crucified on Good Friday. Based on the Jewish calendar, certain things were done on certain days. In this case, one day to consider is the Sabbath, or Shabbat in Hebrew. We know that to be Saturday, but there are also other Sabbaths that are recognized by the Jews. Which Sabbath is the scripture referring to?
LOVE GIFT
Passover, or the Feast of Unleavened Bread, was always held on the 1st day of the Feast of Nisan, a Holy Convocation and a day of rest. No work was to be done as on the traditional Sabbath. Preparation for this Passover day was in the middle of the week. This Sabbath began earlier in the week, not necessarily the widely recognized Sabbath or Saturday. Christians recognize the Resurrection of Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of Passover, in that He is the Passover Lamb.

This is very technical and is best understood by viewing or listening to this message on CD or DVD. This letter does not do this important subject justice. My Dad, Apostle Fred Price and I dissect this and many other Resurrection Day mysteries in our two-part CD and DVD series, The Resurrection- Jesus is Risen.

For your love gift of any amount you choose, for the financial support of Ever Increasing Faith Ministries, I will send you Part 1 of this important message for you to play repeatedly in advance of our coming Resurrection Day, also known in the Secular world as Easter. Do not get me started on the differences between Easter and Resurrection Day, they are in fact nowhere near the same. One is one of the holiest of days in the Christian calendar, the other is a gross, pagan, secular business opportunity for the unknowing.

This Gospel work is supported by friends like you who understand the importance of what we are doing and are willing to invest financially in making it possible for us to continue. Your gift is a seed sown into fertile ground that is producing a wonderful harvest.

As you celebrate Resurrection Sunday with your family, remember that it is the power of Our Heavenly Father which has been manifested in your life that gives you victory over the enemy. Rejoice in that victory and live in it not just on one special day but throughout the year. We appreciate your help in the work, and we look forward to hearing from you very soon.

In the Service of the King,
Pastor Fred Price, Jr.

PS: My wife and I rejoice in your friendship and thank God for you. I remind you again that because of the Resurrection, death no longer has power over you. Live in the victory of Christ over the grave and live in His power. And I urge you to stand with us in the work of telling others the Good News. Thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support. May the Lord Bless you in a mighty way.
