It is interesting to me that when Ever Increasing Faith Ministries asks a spiritual question of its followers, we receive only a marginal response. On the other hand, when we ask a question of a secular nature, such as politics or current events, the response is amazing. My dad, Apostle Price was known for topics such as Faith, Healing, Prayer, Prosperity and the Holy Spirit, before he ventured off into The Christian Family and Race, Religion and Racism. We are in the world, but not of it. We should look at current events from a Christian perspective.

Romans 12:2: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Some people vote, based on personalities, all the while knowing that the person or persons they voted for do not share their same Christian values. It does, however, provide spirited conversation. One of the hot button topics of interest to everyone, especially people of color, is the issue of racism, how to recognize it, how to respond to it and certainly how NOT to respond to it.

2020 was a pivotal year. I haven’t heard of such an uproar as occurred with the killing of George Floyd since the civil rights marches of the 60’s. People of all colors, ethnicities and from many countries were outraged and unfortunately, some were moved to extreme acts of civil disobedience. You would think, that with all the global protests, featuring hundreds of thousands of people, that those in authority would have gotten the message. We see all too often, families crying, asking when is it going to stop? The short answer is, it more than likely is not. Satan is the god of this world. We are the salt of the earth. If salt loses its savor, what do we expect? Are you/we doing our part to make a change, not just socially, but spiritually?

Matthew 5:13-16: You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

Using the Noah’s Ark analogy, you need to decide which side you are on. Are you righteous and being allowed into the ark or are you still dabbling in the world and going to get left to drown? That which is natural was first spiritual. We are spiritual beings. Stop dealing with the issues of life from only a secular point of view. You have God’s word, use it. Use it on the issues of life in our neighborhoods, our cities, states and our country. Yes, rather than talk bad about your elected officials, do something, pray before you vote and then pray for the person elected that you may lead a peaceful life. Can you imagine the awesome power elected officials have over our ability to live peacefully? We have got to pray for them if they’re in office.
1 Timothy 2:2: Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

When we look back on those who have gone before us, we see their courage and sacrifices that they demonstrated in the face of extremely difficult circumstances. Their struggle to realize the promises of freedom and equality that had been made but not kept required an enormous amount of patience, it did not happen overnight. This is an important reminder to us of the vital role patience plays in our lives.

If you appreciate this ministry, I ask that you consider supporting us with your finances so that we can reach out to thousands more who need to hear God’s word. In the Service of the King,
Pastor Fred Price, Jr.

PS: If you are content to live in poverty, sickness and need, you do not need confidence in the promises of Our Heavenly Father. But, if you want to enjoy the blessings Our Heavenly Father has promised to you, believe that He will do exactly what He says—even before it happens. As God leads, I ask that you sow your love gift, in faith into Ever Increasing Faith Ministries so that we can continue teaching the truth to you and others around the world.
