Dear Friend,
Black History Month has been a thing for a number of years now, but is it still relevant, is it still a thing we should be still talking about after so many years? I’ll let you decide. 24 Years ago, my dad, Apostle Frederick K. C. Price thought addressing racism in the church was way overdue. Was he on target? Did he address this topic once and for all? Unfortunately, just look around. In the United States, our history is rife with racist overtones in housing, quality of education, opportunities and just surviving to old age for some ethnic groups.
Unfortunately, Black Americans in particular, are becoming a minority within the minority community. Other ethnicities are making inroads in areas of the U.S. economy that, for years, have been traditionally places where Black Americans thrived.
Extremist groups on both the left and the right are a threat to the entire country, especially to minorities. Now, with a culture among the youth of today that is very liberal minded, other groups are becoming vocal minority groups, such as women and various created genders. It seems no one wants to offend anyone these days - except Almighty God.
It’s sad, Our Heavenly Father, the Creator of the Universe, who laid out His plan for mankind in His word, the Bible, is being dismissed by the youth of today in favor of idols of their own choosing. Remember, Apostle’s teaching wasn’t about racism only, it was primarily about the church. He reminded us that without the church, racism couldn’t exist. Just look at recent, high profile court cases; fascism is still alive and well in just about every aspect of our society. Hate groups, renegade law enforcement officers, hate within and among minority groups - it’s just sinful.
So, should Race, Religion and Racism still be taught today? You know the answer. Just listen to Apostle’s words in this series and you’ll see just how relevant it is. This extensive work, available in print, audio, video and online, will provide insight into how we got here and what we can do about it as a Christian society.
In Jewish culture, they believe in keeping the Holocaust before the world, so it never happens again. They say in essence, “never forget”. I admire them for taking this stand. Black Americans need to do the same and take a similar stand against the enslavement of tens of thousands of our ancestors and the disgusting loss of life as they were forcibly brought to this country. Yes, we still need to study Race, Religion and Racism.
There is a difference between racism and racial prejudice. Where did it all begin? God shows no partiality. We are one nation, made from one blood. A recorded statement against interracial marriage is symptomatic of the broader issue. Apostle Price’s teaching describes the geographic location of Eden and discusses the likely physical characteristics of Adam and Eve. He explains his position that humans are various shades of one color due to the amount of melanin in their skin. He cites numerous contributions Black people have made over the years.

I picked up where dad left off with my series, Race, Division and Racism. I taught on the origin of the Hebrew people and their dispersions that resulted in various races that can trace their genealogy back to the sons of Noah. With the assistance of the extra biblical writings of Josephus and the Book of Jubilees, I also shared from scripture on the root meaning of ancient names, the location of Mesopotamia (the Fertile Crescent) and the dispersion of the Hebrew people from Northern Africa through the Middle East and European nations. Historians believe that the earth was one big supercontinent until a great earthquake separated this great land mass. Before the separation, it would have been easy for people to cross over from the Ethiopian nations into the middle east and vice versa.
The separation of the supercontinent resulted in the separation of peoples and the earth as we know it today. This separation was signified by Peleg, a descendant of Shem, whose name means “division” and “earthquake.” I break down the meaning of each name in the genealogy of Noah and how each name represents not only a people but the lands they settled into. The scriptures prove that Japheth and Shem birthed the Iranian empire. The scriptures show how the seed of Japheth, Shem and Ham settled in lands from Northeastern Africa through Europe and Asia Minor. I revealed how the scriptures can be taken out of context to support slavery. The names in Noah’s genealogy conceal and point to the Messiah.
Anything you want to know, from either a historical or current perspective, on the topic of Race, Religion, Division or Racism, has been covered in our messages to you.
