Dear Friend,
Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus!
I am so excited about teaching my new series, based on my father’s iconic book, “HOW FAITH WORKS”!
So many Christians have been bound with anxiety and fear in these past few years, and so now it is time to get back to “basic training” so we can be strong and victorious in our FAITH walk!
The Bible says that “the just shall live by FAITH” “For in it [the Gospel] is the righteousness of God” (Romans 1:17). It is of the utmost importance that we know and understand what “faith” is, because we are to live by it!
FAITH is how I access the realm of God. Just because I have knowledge about FAITH does not mean I understand how to “live by faith.” Understanding is the bridge to wisdom, and wisdom is actually knowledge rightly applied. So, let us talk about just a few of the “ABCs” of faith because faith is the currency of the Kingdom of God.
FAITH is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 tells us that faith is a gift of God, given by the grace of God and it is available to everyone who believes in Jesus, God’s Son, as their Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9–10). Romans 12:3 says that God has dealt every man (and woman) the measure of faith. Faith is also something we must determine in our hearts to hold on to by trusting and proclaiming God’s promises (Hebrews 10:23). My father, Apostle Frederick K. C. Price, opened every Sunday morning worship service quoting Romans 10:17: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” It is vital that we must HEAR the word of God, to develop our faith. Our faith is based on the Word of God — The Bible, and it (the Bible) is our heavenly transmitter into the Kingdom of God.

Our struggle is not in fighting demons, because we have been given authority to cast them out! We follow the course of our master, our Messiah, Jesus. He demonstrated and taught that there is only one word required to cast out demons in HIS name, and that is the word, “Go!” Jesus told us “To trample” over all the power of the enemy in Luke 10:19: “Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” So, the good fight of faith, referred to in 1 Timothy 6:12, is not a fight with demons.
The Word also says that we must operate in faith to even please God! Hebrews 11:6 is the only verse that targets the subject of pleasing God, which is by having FAITH. Romans 8:8 makes it clear that what does NOT PLEASE God, is being in the flesh. We cannot be in the flesh and operate in faith at the same time and vice versa.
Faith is actually a tangible substance; it is matter. Hebrews 11:1 tells us “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Though you may not see the manifestation of what you have prayed for YET, your faith is the evidence of what WILL manifest in the future from now! Be encouraged, child of God — even though what you are believing for (based on the Word of God), may not come into fruition at this time, it DOES exist now in the spirit realm though it is currently unseen.
