What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.
Do you like to get things for free, no cost, no charge and no payment? I know I do, especially when those things have value and even more when they are of great value.
The reason I bring this up is we still have some, thank God, not many, who refuse to participate in giving to a ministry because they say the Gospel is free. Well, they are partially correct, the Gospel is free, but someone must get the Gospel to the people. Unfortunately, that is not free. In fact, it can come at substantial cost, depending on which delivery method you choose.
The most expensive method of delivering the Gospel is television. “Religious” television does not have commercials that pay for the program. They must pay for it from the gifts of the people who watch the program and it’s very expensive. Ever Increasing Faith Ministries has paid as much as $40,000.00 per hour, to have one program air, on one TV station, in one city in the country. Now multiply that times how many, highly populated cities there are in the country and you can see that delivering the Gospel to the people comes at substantial cost.
Even seemingly inexpensive delivery methods such as streaming online, etc., costs plenty. Think about it, we must first have employees that are paid a living wage, not poverty wages. These employees research the marketplace and design digital facilities to provide a streamed message. But first, they need to acquire high definition cameras, lenses and back end support equipment to get the video signal delivered. Of course, no video would be of any use without audio, so staff must purchase high quality, durable microphones, mixing consoles, speakers, amplifiers and test and measurement equipment so we can hear what the Pastor is saying. So, you see, yes, the Gospel may be free, but getting it to you comes at a cost.
Ministries offer free Sunday and weekday services and bible studies, local ministry events, weddings, memorial services, counseling, baptisms, hospital and home visitations and much, much more. Who is going to pay for this? We need vehicles, telephone equipment, office equipment and even more staff to provide the Good News and other ministry services to the people.

To those who still do not see the value in supporting this ministry financially, no problem. We will continue to use our faith that God’s Word will not return to us void and that the remnant will provide the necessary funds for us to not only operate but expand our delivery of the Gospel to a dying world.
