Thankful
Mother’s Day has been talked about at length: what it is, how it came about and how it’s used and abused today. But, regardless of what’s been said about it, it is still a significant day in American culture. Who doesn’t just love their mothers? I sure love mine. It’s always funny to me whenever an athlete gets on the mic on TV. They always say, “Hi Mom!” Rarely, if at all is it “Hi Dad!” That’s just how much we love our mothers.

We know of famous and powerful mothers in the bible, but usually in terms of their activities outside of motherhood. Whatever accomplishments they made, historically, they still had their motherly duties to perform.

It seems not much has changed in all these years. Mothers are always having to wear multiple hats. As the song says, mothers are still not only having to bring home the bacon, they also must fry it up in a pan, pick up the kids and help with their homework and on and on.

This month, along with the rest of the country, Ever Increasing Faith Ministries honors mothers, expectant mothers, new mothers and even grandmothers. Without them, we wouldn’t be who we are today.

Proverbs 31:10-31 is too long to write here, but it is a glowing acknowledgment of a virtuous woman. After you read it, can you truly say this is you or someone you strive to be?
LOVE GIFT
The mother of this ministry is Dr. Betty Price. What a sweet woman of God! I would be surprised if there was another on earth like her. The bible says we can’t beat God giving, but Dr. Betty sure tries. She is loving, caring and looks after Ever-Increasing Faith Ministries as only a mother would.

Recently, when Apostle Price was out of the pulpit recovering from an illness while I was on a sabbatical, she took the bull by the horns and at 84 years old, ministered for the first time in her life, on both Sunday and Tuesday morning bible studies, for months. She reminded me of the children’s story of the little Dutch boy who put his finger in the leaking dike to keep it from breaking and flooding a local village.

Much is said about Mary, Jesus’ mother, but I can only imagine she and Dr. Betty are kindred spirits.

Luke 1:46-48: And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

I’m writing this letter to say that many don’t know how to adequately express their love and appreciation for their mothers. To do so you must first love yourself. To love yourself, you must know you are loved. Rest assured, God loves you, that’s why He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save you and provide you with the ability to live the overcoming and victorious life. He then sent the Holy Spirit to give us power to succeed and excel in our walk with Christ. This is how we do what we do after we receive our Salvation.

Now, I want you to help me get this message to your friends, relatives and loved ones and to those all over the world that you don’t even know. You then will be blessed for being a blessing to others.

Ever Increasing Faith Ministries has been commissioned to bring the Gospel and the Word of Faith to you. Today I encourage you to sow a love gift into this fertile ground. When we obey God, we activate His Word in our lives and from that point on everything changes. All that we are doing around the world, teaching the Word of God to His children, is supported by the generous and loving hearts of friends like you. Your gift today is a blessing to so many people throughout the world.

When you send your gift today you are sowing seed, not just for the work of this ministry, but for your life and future as well. The eternal principles that the Bible teaches regarding finances, by your love gift, will have a major impact on your life.

You have been presented the word of truth and I urge you to respond. Do not draw back—God rewards and honors your act of faith! I look forward to hearing from you soon.

In the Service of the King,
Pastor Fred K. Price, Jr.

PS: God’s word says in Deuteronomy 8:18, “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” When we remember Our Heavenly Father with our financial seed, our needs will be met. We at EIFM appreciate your love and support and encourage you to sow your love gift today
