Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus!
The Hebrew word for wisdom, chokmah, encompasses not only spiritual insight but practical wisdom, skillfulness, and discernment in making sound decisions. It is vital to seek godly wisdom to navigate life's challenges. My mother, Dr. Betty Ruth Price, embodies this wisdom. She has faithfully sought and served God since the age of seven, and at 91 years young, she continues to do so with unwavering passion.
I understand that many of you reading this letter have been blessed with amazing Christian mothers and grandmothers, and to you, they are the greatest women on earth, and that's wonderful! We should honor all the godly women in our lives: our wives (shout-out to my beautiful prayer warrior wife, Angel!), mothers, grandmothers, aunts, ministers, and teachers. We must also raise our daughters to embrace both the Word and love of God, by precept and example.
However, in this letter, I wish to focus on my mother, the spiritual matriarch of Crenshaw Christian Center, who has been—and continues to be—a spiritual mother to countless women worldwide. Dr. Betty has never sought the spotlight, but her deep compassion for others has made her an icon in the Body of Christ. She is dedicated to helping others live the “God kind of life:” a life grounded in believing and trusting God's Word and being a "doer of the Word." This foundation has brought her not only survival, but joy and peace since she was a young girl.
I often hear testimonies of how my mother has helped people from all walks of life. Her impact spans overcoming the grief of losing loved ones (including children), to helping single mothers raise successful, godly children, to encouraging lonely widows, assisting the homeless, and uplifting those who have been rejected, abused, and/or discarded. She's been a tremendous source of encouragement to recovering addicts, returning citizens, and even troubled teens, helping them discover their worth and purpose through the Word of God.
Dr. Betty’s advice is always consistent: seek the scriptures, pray, and remain steadfast in faith, focusing solely on what God's Word says, regardless of circumstances.

She encourages all Believers to memorize and study the scriptures, to pray consistently according to God's Word, and to "walk in love"—always forgiving and helping others. One of her key teachings is the importance of praying in the Spirit (praying in tongues), which strengthens our faith (Jude 1:20-25) and equips us to be powerful witnesses for Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8; 2:4).
Over 46 years ago, Dr. Betty felt led to host an annual luncheon for women, aiming to encourage them to stay faithful. The theme was, and continues to be, "Wisdom from Above." Each October, women from all over attend the Wisdom from Above luncheon, where Dr. Betty shares her wisdom and love. She is a modern-day Deborah (Judges 4:4-5), offering biblical answers to those who are hurting—the sick, the brokenhearted, and even Believers who are weary from serving others amidst persecution or attacks from the enemy.
Last October, Dr. Betty shared a powerful message on the "Successful Christian Lifestyle", focusing on submitting to God in spirit, soul, and body, and living according to His Word rather than being led by emotions or intellect. She addressed numerous life challenges and offered God's solutions through scriptures which she has lived by. This life-changing message is yours for a love gift of any amount in support of this ministry.
I wholeheartedly encourage you to listen to Dr. Betty's life-changing message.
