Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus!
(Ladies, though this is addressed to men, please read so you will know how to pray for us.)
Men of God, this is our year to rise up! We need to take the baton from the mighty men of God who’ve gone before us. My earthly father was also my spiritual mentor, teacher, and protector. He was a warrior and my hero. But Apostle Price had no male role models in his life who taught him to be a leader, husband, father, or even a minister! Yet he came to the Word of God and received the infilling of the Holy Spirit. He then decided to discipline himself to wake up early to pray in the spirit and study the Bible before going to work (because Men of Valor WORK!). The Bible speaks of “Men of Valor” in the Old Testament (Joshua 1:14; Judges 6:12; 1 Samuel 16:18; 1 Chronicles 12:28, etc.). The Hebrew definition of “warrior” is strength, virtue, moral character, and a capable leader — one proven under pressure.
Brothers, being a warrior in the faith is not predicated by how much money you have or how handsome or educated you may be. If one’s “inner man” (spirit) is weak and depleted, they are impoverished and weak on the inside. Therefore, we must make a decision to seek our identity from the Word of God and not allow ourselves to become influenced by Social Media’s portrayal of men, which is often steeped in egotism and narcissism.

We CAN become the best fathers, sons, brothers, friends, uncles, cousins, employees, employers, and husbands! We CAN create, build, and prosper to the glory of God, if we take time to strengthen our “inner man” according to Ephesians 3:16. It’s never too late, man of God. NOW is the time! God can restore, heal, and connect you with those who can help you overcome and succeed.
Through this journey of being Men of Valor, when we lack wisdom regarding any life issue, we must ask God for help and not doubt that He will grant us the wisdom we need. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us if we seek Him. Brothers, let’s build up our “inner man” more than ever by increasing the amount of time we pray in the spirit! Place yourself under pastors and mentors who are strong men of God and resist the enemy’s schemes that distract you from your divine path.

As warriors in Christ, we must take the lead in equipping our families and communities to withstand spiritual attacks. God told Adam, before sin entered the world, to keep guard over the Garden of Eden. What did he need to protect it from? Somewhere sin had already existed, even though sin hadn’t yet tainted man. So how much more do we need to stay sober and on guard? We are fighting a spiritual, evil, invisible enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But stay encouraged, my brother — you have authority and ability over Satan’s power through the name of Jesus! As you consistently heed these instructions, please share your praise reports!
