Dear Friend,
Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus!
With Halloween around the corner, it behooves us to be watchful and on guard against the “wiles of the devil” — particularly witchcraft, which is disguised in many forms. Witchcraft often slips by unnoticed, cleverly disguised as attractive and even harmless. To become discerning in identifying what is witchcraft and what is not, we must ground ourselves in the Word of God. The Bible must be our ultimate standard in navigating the spiritual climate of our time.
There are subtle ways witchcraft tries to seep into all areas of our society; whereas witchcraft does not look like witchcraft on the outside, but it is still witchcraft on the inside.
Have you noticed that pop culture pays homage to the supernatural and the paranormal? If not, it is likely because it has been rebranded — wrapped in cuteness or glamour to make it appealing. Satan is a deceiver! Even obvious forms of witchcraft have made their way into the church. Have you noticed?
The same practices condemned in Leviticus 19 — necromancers, mediums, soothsayers, false prophets — are not relics of the past. They are very much alive today. And they are being marketed with polish, charm, and an alluring promise of power.
I felt an urgency in my spirit to sound the alarm. This is a wake-up call to the body of Christ. We must be wise and discerning, exposing the darkness that tries to blend into the background of our daily lives through media, entertainment, retail, and more.

The Old Testament and the New Testament reveal that God will never leave us or forsake us. We can go to Him for anything and everything! We need not ever look outside our heavenly Father for power, strength, or what the world calls “luck.” He is our El Shaddai, our all-sufficiency!
As Believers, our bodies and lives are not our own. We cannot live as though they are. When we give in to unchecked lust, gossip, covetousness, and bitterness — even unknowingly — we can open the door to demonic counterfeit sources of power that only lead to bondage. The forces of darkness try to entice us 24/7. We are in a spiritual war!
Brothers and sisters, I bring this message to you not for condemnation, but to repent before God and renounce any dabbling you may have participated in regarding witchcraft and New Age practices. This is a call to freedom!
I deeply care about you and want the best for you. I know how precious you are to Jesus. It is our LORD who wants us to prosper and thrive in every area of our lives — but through holiness, self-control, and wisdom as it is revealed in the Word of God. That is where our blessings and spiritual power reside.
God’s best will be yours as you seek Him first.
