Dear Friend,

How is it possible to be a Christian – which means you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and when you pass from this life you’re destined to spend eternity with Our Heavenly Father – but still not be victorious in overcoming the issues of daily life?

Unfortunately, we know all too well that we can have all the benefits mentioned above, but still lack victory in many areas of our lives. Why?

First, you need to know that you already have victory over sin, by faith. 1 John 5:4 (NKJV): For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.

Your Heavenly Father will forgive you for anything except rejecting His Son Jesus Christ. You must go on with your life after you’ve sinned and asked for forgiveness, because God chooses not to remember it. The devil is the only one who wants you to remember your sins since he’s the one who enticed you to sin in the first place. Your part is to exercise your faith and victory is yours.

Next, we must know that we have the victory over all the trials and tribulations of life. I stood on several scriptures when going through the trial of cancer. It wasn’t joy, but I counted it as such, because God’s Word produced patience in me and I was able to endure the trial and go through it. I understood that I was in a warfare and knew that the Word of God was stronger than anything I would go through.

John 16:33 (NKJV): These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

We have the victory over all the forces and difficulties of life. We need to capture our thoughts so that we can get out of bad situations. We are more than conquerors and should not walk in the fear of anything.

Second Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV): Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. We have victory over fear, despair and worry. You need to believe you have peace before you experience it.

We have victory over lack, financial need and distress in depressed and troubled times, i.e., cutbacks, layoffs, etc. The way that you give in support of the Gospel is how it will come back to you in times of need. God is a good God and He doesn’t want you to suffer at all.

Ask yourself, why it is that I’m not experiencing victory? Ask yourself also: am I living in unforgiveness, even not forgiving myself for past sins? Or am I actively involved in sin? If I am, I must ask God for forgiveness, move on and sin no more.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you, or someone you love, is dealing with this disease, applying the principles I have outlined in this letter will minister to this attack on your body. Statistics show that in recent years, medical science has made great strides in the treatment of breast cancer and survival rates are increasing. However, it is essential that you use wisdom when dealing with this attack.

God is no respecter of persons. Although I spoke the Word over my body when I was diagnosed with inoperable lymphoma, it wasn’t until I yielded to my doctor’s instructions that my faith was able to produce results.

Ladies, please take your annual breast exams and speak God’s Word over your bodies. If you have received a breast cancer diagnosis, expect God to work through His Word as well as through the medical professionals to properly treat you. Believe that you will walk in victory over this trial of your faith and do not give in to worry and despair. God is faithful and if He brought me through the fire and through the water when the enemy attacked my body, He will do the same for you.

I want to thank you in advance for your support of Ever Increasing Faith. Your generous donations allow us to continue to minister the word of faith to all our viewers and listeners around the globe. Remember that it is more blessed to give than it is to receive and God will reward you bountifully for your support of this ministry!

In Him,

Dr. Betty Price
