Wealth for the Believer
By Pastor Robert E. Bolden
"And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is in this day." - Deuteronomy 8:18
We must keep the faith when it comes to on the Word of God that speaks on prosperity, wealth, finances and abundance. The Word of God is clear on all these subjects and it takes strong faith on the part of the teacher to keep this information before God’s people.
The devil has cleverly and systematically tried to convince the body of Christ that we should not have abundance, wealth or excess. We see in the Word that God is pleased when His servants prosper (Psalms 35:27). The Hebrew word translated here as prosperity is loaded with meaning: safety, wellness, happiness, healthiness, peacefulness. In fact this word is translated “peace” and when your needs are met you know that you are at peace.
Prosperity comes in many different forms. There is social prosperity, mental prosperity and professional prosperity when God blesses the work you are doing on your job or business.

CRENSHAW CHRISTIAN CENTER IS GOING GREEN - "Saving lives while saving the environment."

Crenshaw Christian Center and Ever Increasing Faith Ministries is developing into an environmentally sensitive organization. We are active in recycling, solar energy and reducing waste. It is beneficial to our environment and it is a responsible way of being resourceful. We encourage you to consider "going green" on an individual basis. Below are some tips that can help you get started. As we continue to develop this area at CCC/EIF we will update you on its progress and how you can help us. Here are a few tips to save energy which in turn helps you save money.
- Set your thermostat a few degrees lower in the winter and a few degrees higher in the summer to save on heating and cooling costs.
- Install compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) when your older incandescent bulbs burn out.
- Unplug appliances when you're not using them. Or, use a "smart" power strip that senses when appliances are off and cuts "phantom" or "vampire" energy use.
- Wash clothes in cold water whenever possible. As much as 85 percent of the energy used to machine-wash clothes goes to heating the water.
- Use a drying rack or clothesline to save the energy otherwise used during machine drying.
- Take shorter showers to reduce water use. This will lower your water and heating bills too.
- Install a low-flow showerhead. They don't cost much, and the water and energy savings can quickly pay back your investment.
- Walk or bike to work. This saves on gas and parking costs while improving your cardiovascular health and reducing your risk of obesity.
- Consider telecommuting if you live far from your work. Or move closer. Even if this means paying more rent, it could save you money in the long term.
- If you eat meat, add one meatless meal a week.
- Buy locally raised, humane, and organic meat, eggs, and dairy whenever you can. Purchasing from local farmers keeps money in the local economy.
- Go online to find new or gently used secondhand products. Whether you've just moved or are looking to redecorate, consider a service like Craig’s List or FreeSharing to track down furniture, appliances, and other items cheaply or for free.
- Keep electronics out of the trash. Donate or recycle them responsibly when the time comes. E-waste contains mercury and other toxics and is a growing environmental problem.
- Recycle your cell phone.

FaithPartner of the Month Spotlight Mrs. Florine Johnson-Mollett
EIF is blessed to have FaithPartners like Florine Johnson-Mollett. Flo has been a FaithPartner for more than 20 years. Even though she is a member of Crenshaw Christian Center, she watches the EIF Broadcast every Sunday.
"I get a double dose of the Word every time he appears on TV," she says. "I take the Word of God seriously. He has affected my life in such a way I take what I’ve learned and feed others through my example.
If it weren’t for the Word I learned from the Apostle and how to apply and stand on it for myself I would not have made it through a double tragedy in June and July of 2001. In 2001, my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was inoperable and my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes called gastro peruses. The diabetes my daughter was diagnosed with was not normal, it was killing her. She stopped eating and went to 70 lbs. My husband and my daughter were leaving me. All I had was the Word to hold on to that I learned from the Apostle. It carried me through those 18 months of my life. I never talked about what I was going through. I didn’t stop my duties as a wife, mother, professional and church member. I didn’t miss a service; I kept my focus and continued to feed myself on the Word of God. When someone would say how your husband, I would say, "I believe God." I could not afford to take my eyes off of the Word. I would not look at what was going on in my house because it was death in the natural, everything was deteriorating.
My husband lost his battle, not because I didn’t believe, but because he didn’t see himself through to win. He gave up. However, my daughter knew she was dying. She said "mom I never took my eyes off the Word." She never let death come out of her mouth. She is alive today.
That tragic 18-month time period of my life didn’t appear as bad as it was in the natural. All I could see was light.
Thank God for EIF TV and Crenshaw Christian Center. All I learned undergirded me; I was determined to do like Apostle Price. I said "no devil you came to my house, knocked on my door and I let you in but never again, never again. I went to my front door opened it and said to the enemy "you see this address, don’t you ever stop by here again, you’ll never get in again in Jesus Name."
After all that, I am convinced because of the Word and teachings of Apostle Price that the Word works. I will never stop supporting EIF TV as a FaithPartner. I believe I am helping others
