 Thank God For Everything?
By Dr. Frederick K.C. Price
Ephesians 5:20: “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
As a Christian, am I suppose to thank God for everything that comes my way? There is a lot of discussion about this verse in churches today. However, we need to be scripturally discriminating about this and analyze what we are giving thanks for.
Are you supposed to give God thanks for your little child getting hit by a car and dying? When your husband dies of cancer and leaves you with five children to raise do you thank God? There are many churches that preach that we are to give thanks in these and other evil situations. They say, “Well, the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord.” No!
I can’t thank God when someone dies and goes to hell. I can’t thank God when someone is crippled with some paralysis and he can’t even feed himself. Is this what the scripture is asking me to do? Am I to thank God for everything that happens – good or bad?

The Gifts of the Spirit
Pastor Fred Price is showing now on EIF TV. His message, "The Gifts of the Spirit" teaches us how to develop and utilize our Gifts of the Spirit. Before the fall of man, God communed with His children. When sin entered the world, there was a divide created between God and man, thus ceasing Our Heavenly Father's involvement in the earth realm. Then Jesus came to wash away sin, followed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was sent to serve as our helper and He can operate through us if we are willing. Tune in onilne now!! click here.

FaithPartner of the Month Spotlight Mr. Cleveland and Mrs. Maxine McPherson are our International FaithPartners of the month.
Cleveland McPherson was born and raised in the United Kingdom while Maxine McPherson was born in Jamaica, grew up in Jamaica and the UK. They began to watch Dr. Price on TV in the UK and followed him for years. They had an opportunity to come and live in the US because of Maxine’s job. Her job landed them in New York. They had no idea there was a Crenshaw Christian Center Church in New York until they opened the newspaper and saw the CCC East ad.
We spoke with them while they attended the annual convention Fellowship of International Christian Word of Faith Ministries in July. They discussed how instrumental Apostle Price has been in their lives. According to Maxine, Dr. Price and Dr. Betty are their example of what a godly couple should be. She adds, “they helped us grow not only spiritually, but physically, and financially as well. Dr. Betty’s example has helped me to be a better wife as well as Dr. Price helping my husband be a better husband. Ultimately they helped to prepare us to be great parents for when we are ready to start our own family by their testimony. We have been at the New York church for a little under two years now.”
Cleveland says, “We are about to move again to Texas because of my wife’s job, so we have become FaithPartners so we can support the ministry from Texas. Maxine says “it great to be apart of something that is bigger then ourselves, we are inspired by Dr. Price’s example and are proud to sponsor the ministry going forward, where we can see the tangibility of God. My heart is sad because we are leaving the ministry and we hope that God will work it out where we may come back to New York.”
“We are like ships tossed to and from where we are thrown across the boat and all the pieces are smashing against the walls and we are hanging on the side of the boat holding on,” said Cleveland. “The message “walk by faith not by sight” is our life raft and keeps us strong because if it weren’t for the message of faith we would have had to pack up and go back to the United Kingdom.”
Maxine noted, “it’s really important to really participate in this ministry in your giving to reach the millions that do not know Jesus or who don’t know the love that is extended to them so please join us and give as much as you can.”
EIF Travels for 2011
Dear Friend:
It may seem like a long time from now, but before you know it, it will be time to make your final payment for our Aug. 13, 2011 cruise to the Eastern Caribbean aboard the Oasis of the Seas. Final payments are due 90 days before we sail on or about May 13th. But, before we talk about payments, let’s talk about the cruise.
By the time you read this, Angela and I will have already completed our site inspection cruise aboard the ship. We’ve been doing this since 1984. For a while we thought these trips may not be necessary and we stopped, only to find that when we got back on a ship we had already sailed on and thought we knew, the ship had gone to dry-dock, been cut in half and had a complete center section added – and the builders added decks 30 feet long and the width of the ship. To make matters worse, the cruise line changed the itinerary and I was telling the people we were going one place and the ship actually went somewhere else altogether. Needless to say, we have been going on these site inspections ever since.
We have an addition to our cruise lineup. The singing sensation Angelo and Veronica has signed up to be our ministers in music, just for us. This will be their first cruise ever and they are almost as excited as we are to have them. We know they will add a musical dimension to our cruise that will enhance your overall experience. We know the Apostle and Pastor Fred, Jr. are going to minister as the Holy Spirit leads and we can’t wait.
Don’t forget - the reason we started doing these cruises is to give you, the sheep, an opportunity to invite those unsaved friends and relatives to a great cruise, hit them with the Word and get them saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost and maybe even healed. Remember, it’s sheep that beget sheep, it’s your job. We’ll provide the venue, you provide the sheep.
So, call 800-247-1899 or sign up online at http://www.inspirationcruises.com/eif.
Not interested? A cruise makes a nice Christmas gift.
We’ll see you on board.
A Michael Evans, Jr.
Cruise Coordinator
