September 2010The Consequence of Decision The position that you are in both circumstantially and spiritually is a direct result of the decisions you have made. Good, bad, indifferent, independent or corporate—the decisions you have made have placed you where you are NOW. The significance about decision is that it is strictly yours—whether the outcome is good or bad—you can’t blame anyone else but yourself. Also, many times bad or wrong decisions can be traced directly to selfishness. The greater issue is the effect your decision has on those around you, your family, your Church, your community, your nation and world. A key example of the result of decision is that of Adam in the garden. One of the initial outcomes of his decision was God asking the question, “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9) God’s question shows that Adam was out of God’s plan both in circumstance (hiding from God’s presence—Genesis 3:8) and spiritually (disobedient to God’s command—Genesis 2:16, 17). The mere fact that Adam and Eve were hiding from God shows that they made a bad decision. The larger result from what seemed a personal and isolated decision is that it placed all humankind into a place of sin. One decision from a man, one decision from a woman moved them outside the garden, separated them from the life and nature of God and threw the whole world into sin—under the curse. So our decisions, even those that seem minor, can have far-reaching results.

Celebrating Frederick K.C. Price III Schools’ 25th AnniversaryDear Frederick K.C. Price III Schools’ Supporter: Resurrection From the Dead Pastor Larry Matteson- AFPMTC Schools Director, always says that Christians should be sensitive to the needs of humanity and extend themselves to the degree that we are amongst all type of people—both believers and unbelievers. We should be representing God to them and be in between God and them as His intercessors and priest in society, work publicly, and play and leisure in our homes privately. Interestingly, I had already made a decision to be proactive and attend to my elderly dad, Clinton Holland Sr., when other family members for one reason or the other, neglected to care for him. I thank God that I was there on April 30, 2010 at around midnight. With the help of a 911 call and the Inglewood emergency paramedics, we where able to admit my dad to Centinela Hospital to get administered the help necessary for his complete recovery from a heart attack. However, what I am testifying to is what happened before the 911 operator was called. Bookstore
